On another list I belong to an interesting topic post was given today, in
reading it I wondered if you when you lived in India had also become
aware of it and what you could tell me about it from your knowledge 
and perspective. I place an extract below and await your reply.

"In India and Nepal, I used to watch the family members scratch 

through the ashes of the funeral pyre of their deceased relatives 

searching for a small crystalline bead...the Ajna...something sacred 

to them...and this they take home...the last earthly remains of their 

loved one...every other kind of calcium, calcite, nanobacterium, 

magnesium etc...burns away in the fire….but the little glass bead of 

brain sand is still there…



You can buy Ajnas in the streets near the funeral area, always near a 

river...as some people think they are good to have, that they bring 

you the good spirit values of the deceased one...I have held them in 

my hand"
