RE: Theos-World Re: Notify about using the e-mail account.

The problem is that a very few people write computer viruses, which go out
into the world to bother thousands or perhaps millions of people. No matter
how smartly people write computer software, some hackers manage to stay
ahead and keep causing problems.

When sending themselves out, viruses often alter email message headers to
make it seem like the messages come from somewhere different. This is to
make it harder to stop them, and has the added bonus of confusing people and
creating greater ill-will as people look at the FROM: line in virus-infected
messages and get mad at the wrong people.

We cannot do too much other than take reasonable precautions like having the
best virus protection programs and keeping our anti-virus definitions
up-to-date.

The world has both good and evil in it. Some people are out to vandalize and
cause harm out of either mischief or malice. We need to remain open to the
good in others while protecting self and those about us against harm.

I won't thanks, but, just how many of these do we have to
receive/trash before folks stop with this wacky nonsense?

I think it is impolite and unkind.
