The would-be disciple who arrogates to himself the right to judge his
teacher, for whatever reason, has forfeited his right to be taught.
I'd take issue with that. The would-be disciple must be discriminative, serious, testing, cautious with all the intuitive tools at his/her disposal. Similar to marriage, perhaps? <insert howler here>
He who would attach blindly to a teacher deserves to be led by the blind...and their name is legion.

Like the U.S. Marines, the Masters are looking for a few good men/women. Different bootcamp, different pay grade. <g>
