I never said that I went around tricking people (unless, for example,
you think that William Shatner intended people to believe he really was
a starship captain). That is the key to stage magic; the magician is an
ACTOR, playing the role of a real magician.
(1) The Shannon letter (this one baffled Marion Meade as well),
(2) The Gephard letter, and
(3) The buried teacup.
For the first two, I am not specifically familiar with the details. For
the last, I can think of two alternative explanations.
1) Blavatsky had prepared, possibly months before, the teacup and
saucer. Note that in one account, she was rather insistent on the
location of the picnic. Given that detail, I think that this is the most
likely explanation, short of true materialization.
2) There is something that is not being said. For example, Blavatsky
might have helped with the digging; this might not be even remembered
given that someone else found the cup and saucer.
