One problem with THE THEOSOPHICAL GLOSSARY is a question of authorship; Blavatsky had only completed part of it at the time of her death, and one cannot tell what part Blavatsky wrote and what part she didn't. This is indeed unfortunate, because I have found a number of things in that book which would provide clues behind other things she said (for example, the part on hypnotism mentions Dr. James Braid, whose information on hypnosis was largely second hand and inaccurate, and his inaccuracies match those of Blavatsky).
