I have worked indirectly with JREF on at least one of the tests, and 
the conditions sounded damned fair to me. It was a test of Therapeutic 
Touch, and even Dr. Janet Macrae and Dora Kunz agreed that it was a fair 
test (mind you, neither one would participate).

In any case, the money is just sitting there, right now, in escrow. 
With today's interest rates, it is not bringing in a lot of income, 
either. And, as I stated, based on my personal correspondence with James 
Randi, while he does not believe the money will ever be collected, I 
think he would be delighted if it was.
