The bottom line is, generally speaking ... Take everything you hear or read
with a grain of salt -- or maybe, a bucket... (Especially, if it's
followed by
a smiley.) In the above case, however, everything I said is true --
presumedly speaking, that is -- except the names have been changed to
protect the
innocent. :-)
The bottom line advice is good.
I'm sure your past identity's will come to you if you speculate about it
hard
enough. But, don't think anyone will believe you if you tell them about
it.
Speculation is why there are 10 million Cleopatras, but none of her
servants. And no one will fess up to having been the asp. If you "see" the
identity and the lifetime, you know from the seeing pov who was whom. The
Records do not lie, only humans lie.
Oddly, the soul consciousness usually seems to have a good sense of
geography and time period too.
But, on that same note, it's generally not recommended ( and for good
reason) to go about playing in the Akasha finding personalities until one
has made their current vehicle an instrument of buddhi.
Of course, we may know who we are, but there were so many parts played in
past lives that ... well... you know how hard it is to remember what we
said or
did last Tuesday. </^:-)>
Leon
No one seems to remember their 'bystander' lifetimes, or the myriad times
where they were a criminal or a nobody.
That lifetime the cave bear bit off my head before I was even full grown,
ferinstance- I damn well better not meet up with that bear again!
...which, ftm, could be the theosophical version of the joke about the guy
who goes hunting in Alaska......and after the third time, the bear says,
"......."
regards-
Ali
