Molten lead would kill bacteria, but he did not recommend this as a 
medical procedure. His claim was that a sudra who heard the Vedas 
being sung should have a hot lead shake. Yum, yum.

Since I am 40% deaf I would have been safe, but his comments still 
put me off. What is mystifying is the assumption that EVERYONE must 
reverence specifically Sankara, whereas some of us prefer the 
objective idealist position taken by Kapila, for both practical and 
philosophical reasons. Something else that mystifies me is why 
theosophists invariable resort to ad hominem attacks apparently to 
cover up their ignorance whenever they dislike something, and yet 
this is not true on any other list or with any other group except 
theosophists.
