Thanks Mauri:
I would however observe:
All answers are a basis for our own re-consideration of things we have
already been thinking of. It is like honing a knife-edge -- we get
closer to the ultimate definitions -- the ultimate "sharpness."
Each one of us makes their own decisions, don't they? Even to
"speculate" is a decision.
Then how well do we "remember" those conclusions? Do we add to them?
To me, "believing" is simply saying "I read, or I heard," but I still
have to find something that is proof-worthy. What is a fact? How do we
find out if it is true or only an opinion?
We are faced with the old: "How do I prove anything?" "What can I be
absolutely sure of?"
Well you tell me of anything that you are certain of?
If we use the idea that KARMA is a "porte-manteau" word (a word that
includes many ideas and observations) --to me it simply means it
includes all the possible relationships between finite beings in an
infinite galaxy. Rather difficult to say in finite terms, isn't it?
But, how does one gather together all the balance situations, and the
give and take that operates everywhere? Checks and balances?
And, meanwhile, where and what are we? Observers? Stable survivors?
How did we get to be that way?
I like to read your speculative inquiries, as they make one think. But
have you ever thought of gathering all those together under main
headings and tabulate the many possible answers to them? I think that
would be interesting. At least the answers might reveal something.
Best wishes as always,
Dallas

I have a feeling that some kinds of
"answers" to questions like that might
exist, or might be available, basically,
but I suspect that even if the average
person were to get some kind of answer
to such a question (ie, "answer" in
whatever "Higher" or "More Realistic"
sense), that answer might not be
recognized as such by the average person
... But I suppose there are some
"answers" that at least might "seem
meaningful" in whatever sense, to
whoever, or even "answers" that one
might have convinced oneself in
"believing," in whatever sense.
Karma,
at least in part, I tend to suspect,
seems to have a role in making
"believers" of us all, in whatever
sense, tentatively or otherwise.
Speculatively,
Mauri
