Once again I will not name names, but the one or two on the Board whose purpose was more to tear down than to build up more or less ruined things. Also there was the fact that the only thing that really united the group was a dislike of the then-current administration. I really believe that some of their suggestions would have been adopted had they been worded more reasonably.

One reaction of the TSA Board which, as a supporter of the Board, I personally found very distasteful was the redistricting. Essentially, it guaranteed that candidates for Board who were not supported by the current Board would find it almost impossible to let their views be known among the membership. I suspect a plan I was pushing, to have Federations create regional speaker plans not unlike National's National Speakers had something to do with it, as it would allow people to get regionally known without the direct control of National. However, I was unable to generate interest in my idea, anyway.
