Hi
May I show my view if you donīt mind?
Maybe simpleminded...but there it goes.
Is it because the lack of dry land in his planet that many donīt have access to a basic food or is it because internationl egoistic pollitics doesnīt care about?
Many first-world and rich countries could join together and erradicate poverty and child mortality to more accetable levels but they donīt.
See, for example, the production of those crucial drugs for AIDS, the labsdonīt permit the "opening' of the patents so that other factories could produce the medicines to enlarge life of HIVīs infected people or even heal!
See what is happening to Africa...
I am not negative minded but about land-bridges...with the current level ofhospitality and goodwilling of mankind, enlarging borders would cause terrible diplomatic and social problems, principally for those who are eager toget away from poverty in their motherlands and go to a more promising land.
There should be an invent that could be given Man to increase his ampathy and honesty...this would of course help a lot.
Picture a world of honest polititians!...it is almost impossible to daydream about it ( laughs) .

Hi all,
While looking at the satellite photos very kindly supplied by Dallas &
Daniel, I could not help but think what if:-
All the money, effort and resources currently wasted on wars and sham
politics were put into research and development projects in order to increase the
land mass on our planet, perhaps by finding ways to reduce the sea level and/or
moving a few mountains.
Imagine vast new agricultural areas producing food, perhaps land bridges or
causeways joining countries and continents.
Ah but it is just a daydream, no doubt better brains than mine have already
considered the benefits and been crushed by the enormity of the task. However
what if?
