Kipling and Sinnett information request

Dear Friends,

I am doing some research on Kipling and Theosophy. Within that I am
coming across Kipling's overlapping time with Sinnett, both when in
India (1882-83) and when back in Britain. Kipling had a short note in
his Autobiography (Something of Myself, p. 58) about Sinnett
being "untheosophically angry" when criticised for using the Pioneer
for "propaganda".

Has anyone come across relevant material on this Kipling/Sinnett-
Theosophy setting?

In particular, (apart from his 'satires' The Sending of Dana da and A
Nightmare of Rule) FIRSTLY do we have anything more from Kipling on
Sinnett/Theosophists and indeed SECONDLY do we have anything from
Sinnett on Kipling?

I have heard mention of an article by Santucci on Sinnett's
Theosophist activities at the Pioneer, but have been unable to see a
copy of that. Does anyone know anything more about that?

Any illumination from folks, welcomed.

David Scott
