Hi Dallas,
Thank you for the reply, yes I would like very much to
receive the list you mentioned, please send me it.
I have read both, the Preface of Isis Unveil, BEFORE
THE VEIL and also the preface of the Secret Doctrine.
But I am trying to find out information relative to
this Hierophant called Pot-Amun. Do you think it's
only Diogenes Laėrtius that mention this hierophant?
If so do you have any idea in which book?
See below a compilation of Blavatsky's article:
What Is Theosophy?
The Theosophist, Vol. I October, 1879
"Diogenes Laėrtius a biographer of ancient Greek
philosophers(1) traces Theosophy to an epoch
antedating the Ptolemaic dynasty; and names as its
founder an Egyptian Hierophant called Pot-Amun(2), the
name being Coptic and signifying a priest consecrated
to Amun, the god of Wisdom." HPB
ps. I have added the numbers and 'a biographer of
ancient Greek philosophers' on the compilation above,
for the prospect I am making'
