I think the Spirit that is the Universal thing, an aspect of the 
monad) that the soul needs to purify and work together through higher 
levels to become the total immortality for the soul. The Spirit is 
the immortal part. 

For humans needs to make that in their body to unity with the 
physical body to be at one, with all.
