Hi everybody,

Greece is a country where the theosophical literature
is very, but very poor. There are very few books
written translated to Greek, the Greek translation of
the Secret Doctrine is very old, and based of course,
on the version that Annie Besant made more than 10.000
thousand alterations. We cant even find a Secret
Doctrine for sale in any book shop.

The Theosophical Society here has very few members.
At the base of the TS here in Greece they have very
old and bad formulated pamphlets. Anyway this year I
am planning to start a work with a friend of mine
here, to try to give a strong impulse to The
Theosophical Movement in this country. 

Next week we are sending a letter for Mrs. Radha
Burnier exposing some facts happening here and
expecting some kind of support from the International
Headquarters. Not a financial support, but a support
of political nature. 

We are working on a project for the translation of
many books to Greek, and for the legalization of a
lodge, with a group of persons that have split from
the TS few years ago, and they are dedicated to the
study of Blavatsky.

If for political reasons we don’t get any support of
the International headquarters, Adyar, we are going to
need help anyway. Of course on the due course of time
I am going to inform you what is happening here and
what are the results of our try. I am just sending
this email here, because I believe there are many
serious and dedicated students of theosophy in this
list.

About me I am 13 years member of the Theosophical
Society having past through the last five years a very
serious personal crisis, based on the lost of the
guard of my son, and problems with my mother.

The lost of my son's guard was close connected to my
relation to The TS, specially for the fact I was
settled two years with him in Adyar, India. The
problems with my mother also they were connected to
The Theosophical Society. My mother was expulse of the
Theosophical Society while in Adyar by Mrs Radha
Burnier. Such fact cause on her a deep crisis, from
which she wasn't unable to return up to today. She
disappeared two years in Asia, sending back to us her
passports and bank cards. Well it was a very dark
moment, in one month I lost my son, in the next month
I received a letter of farewell from my mother in
India, and also the news that she was expulse from
Adyar. 

After this avalanche of problems in my life, very
difficult by the way for me psychological to deal
with, I decided to become once more an active TS
member, but as I mentioned above if for political
reasons we don’t get the support of the International
headquarters, the impulse we want to give for the
theosophical movement in Greece will happen in one way
or in another.
