Hi,
I am sending below some excerts of H.P.B about fear.
For what I understand fear on the light of theosophy
is rooted in the ignorance.
"He, who fully recognised the power of his immortal
spirit, and never doubted for one moment its
omnipotent protection, had naught to fear. But woe to
the candidate in whom the slightest physical
fear—sickly child of matter—made him lose sight and
faith in his own invulnerability. He who was not
wholly confident of his moral fitness to accept the
burden of these tremendous secrets was doomed."
Isis Unveiled. ii. 119.
"Beware of this, O candidate! Beware of fear that
spreadeth, like the black and soundless wings of
midnight bat, between the moonlight of thy Soul and
thy great goal that loometh in the distance far away."
"Fear, O disciple, kills the will and stays all
action. If lacking in the Shila virtue — the pilgrim
trips, and Karmic pebbles bruise his feet along the
rocky path."
"Beware of trembling. 'Neath the breath of fear the
key of Kshanti rusty grows: the rusty key refuseth to
unlock The more he fears, the more that light shall
pale"
