Like karmic stomach aches, maybe? I wonder if that's why I had to stop eating cow, lamb, pork in my early twenties. I had a series of severe stomach aches until I realized I had them always after eating some kind of "red" meat. Don't seem to have too many problems, apparently, with fowl and sea food, not that those foods don't have plenty of toxins, insecticides and hormones in them. I think it's a miracle I'm still alive. Apparenlty butter is the most poisonous regular food one can eat, with apples coming in second.
But maybe it's "good karma" when even the big supermarkets are now offering organic foods?

Speculatively,
Mauri
