I don't know of any mental imbalances that occur in meditation from eating 
meat. What I do know is that the sphere of sensation is gross in the meat eater 
and needs to be subtle to penetrate the mysteries. A vegetarian diet helps, as 
does fasting when done properly. Vegans develope a subtlety of sensation 
that is also quite better.

What does cause mental imbalance is to meditate while intoxicated with 
specific alchoho;ic beverages, modern nicotine products, and caffien. This all 
is a matter of experimentation, though you may find all kinds of mental 
imbalances projecting out into your life, all these are learning experiences.
