Hi!
Seven is the development of three, the neutral principle. The domain of the
4 elements, the alliance between the idea and the form. 
7 = 1 + 6: The central unity(1) in balance(6)
7 = 2 + 5: The science (2) developing intelligence (5)
7 = 3 + 4: The form(3) in harmony(4)
This number represents the number of the "magical" power, we find it in the
7 days of creation, the seven sounds of the musical scale, the seven colors
of the rainbow, the 7 virtues, the 7 planets. 

As above, so below.

Seven is an arbitrary number, into which many continuities are
divided 
in order to make them easier to understand. It was given special 
significance because of 7 "planets" observable from the Earth by humans 
without use of instrumentation, given a geocentric point of view. 
Because humans think so highly of themselves, they confused what they 
could observe with what was, and therefore made 7 a significant number.
