Christopher,
I enjoyed your post, it is always interesting to see the referencing
of Blavatsky's
work with more recent disciplines. The Holographic Theorem is a way of
focus and conceptualizing the problem of Consciousness and it's obscure origins
and is
stimulating for the purposes of the exercise of our efforts of self
remembrance and
self recognition.

The Monad seems to keep popping up across time as one of the principal
constituents whether Blavatsky, Dee, Paracelsus, or earlier inquirers. One
source
not widely referenced is this:
The Bruce Codex - The Untitled Document, which scrolling down to # 7 one
can find
reference to the Monad.
http://www.gnosis.org/library/untitl.htm

It seems to me at least a possibility that the intensive
"Personifications" found in
these works which can date back to the 3rd century or earlier are a
necessary
"expedient means" and were recognized as such by their authors as they had
to
instruct at least some other members of mankind whose minds required that
there
be in order for the content to be received at all- the Personalization and
Form with
Structure not equaling "nothingness" in recognition of the design
limitation inherent
in our common waking consciousness.

Today there are quite a few paths of inquiry taking place by dedicated
organizations
other than the historical aggregations of religion which inquire on
Consciousness, one
is the "IONS" founded by the former astronaut Edgar Mitchell
http://www.noetic.org

another is the "Nonduality Salon"
http://nonduality.com/lrn.htm

Some of the other Nag Hammadhi texts I found especially stimulating in this
arena
were:
The Trimorphic Protenoia (the triple formed first thought)
http://jdt.uni.edu/tp.html
and
The Thought of Norea Codex IX Nag Hammadhi

When I read these I find much to remind me of Madame Blavatsky, and why
shouldn't it as fundamentally the "Q's" of Consciousness are beyond
matter, energy,
space and time?

John
