All,
Another worthy term used explicitatly in Christian constructs is the
term "Glory"
expressly used to indicate the Spiritual Radiance of the Transfigurated
Jesus. Many
Buddhist temples of all divisions of Buddhism display the emanative
radiance of
production usualy according to a canon that delineates the rule of Color
surround
respective of those worthy of reverence. The Tunhuang Cave figures come to
mind.
The Buddhist University of Nalanda surely has reference to many works of
Art
on this topic. It seems to me to be a more or less universal transmission
among
the historical cultures and religions who relate such perceptions seen by
many
over a vast arena of time.
As to a solitary loyalty to the writtings of the Nicene Fathers, perhaps
one of the
more erudite on this list could help refresh my memory and state which one
made
this statement: "We create thsse lies for the good of the many."
