re Jesus, words, efforts

Quoting what "Jesus was made to have said,"
as per John's post of today: <<Limbs of the
Ineffable>> And: <<the gnosis of the gnosis
of the ineffable>>
In Webster's, gnosis means: "positive
knowledge in spiritual matters, such as was
claimed to have been mystically acquired by
the Gnostics."
I wonder if "Limbs of the Ineffable"
might've been a reference, among other
things, to (in other words?) certain kinds of
words, wordings, thoughts and concepts as
might be found in the Esoteric Tradition , in
that, if certain kinds of wordings are
intended, in a sense, as "jumping off points"
towards the "ineffable" (or Ineffable---ie,
as I see it, caps, italics or quotes might be
used to alert the reader, or some readers, as
to the "esoteric nature" of certain kinds of
intended meanings for certain words) ... so
if certain kinds of wordings are intended as,
in a sense, "jumping off points" (from, "in a
sense," the constraints of "essential
dualisticity" and "karmic tendencies"), then
... Well, not that we don't all have our
various ways of interpreting "jumping off
points," among other things, but/"but" ...

Speculatively,

PS John, do I have your permission to quote
you on Theosophy Study List? I'm wondering
what Gerald might have to say about that Mead
quote about Jesus. Gerald doesn't want to
subscribe to this list as far as I know.
