Mauri,
Years later when I got a PC and read the web sites on Satya Sri Shirdi 
Baba
I found that it was related in stories about him by various people that 
he was 
Known to "follow" people when he was alive. He was also associated 
closely
to an Islamic Temple where he was daily found with his spinning wheel for 
many
years, he spun his cloth for his own clothing as did Ghandi.

As to the Rapport of Consciousness that can be established to an 
individual
from a qualified spiritually advanced person this is most adamantly 
advocated 
with certainty by Madame Blavatsky as well as throughout the historic
proclamations of all the inheritance of mankind through their religions 
and the
Auditors of each.

It seems to me at least that if one has produced a focused, directed 
and
single pointed internal thought process upon some one special interest in 

one's mind and energy and keeping the sincere regard of one's object of
attention (Sai Baba or any other equivilent) then a unique and special 
context
of the personal production in the person so engaged can be initiated, and 
once
initiated , nurtured and cultivated by a relaxed but ongoing holding 
within the mind
a one-pointed thought that is premised by one's desire to have awareness 
and 
knowledge in the context of the spiritual reality of that person or Being 
then it
can at least to me and my experience produce result. As to the result 
itself, my
own experience is that one cannot predict the form, context, or time, or 
place
or state of consciousness ( ie; any of the 4 states) which will example. 
This it
seems to me to be perfectly normal as the result itself is dependent upon 
another
consciousness other than oneself as the responder. In Daniel the angel 
told him
"Take of this book and eat of it," to me this indicates to take the 
knowledge
within oneself and fully masticate , taste, notice the flavor, and the 
texture and all
it's nuances, and to completely integrate it into one's mind and energy 
in the
appropiate form, context , and feeling. Doing so that new context of 
energy is
initiated that seems to be the substrate that conditions the connection 
of
Rapport.
