the emblem of the TS in this group is the same as the original TS emblem

Hi. The image used on the Yahoo Groups home page for theos-talk is a
two-color gif. The colors used for that copy of the image were white for the
color of the TS seal and purple for the background color. The filled in
solid color was chosen to make the image stand out better on the web page.
Since white was the "colored in" part, the downward triangle is "colored in"
and the upward triangle is light or "not colored in."

If you look at other web pages associated with the list, you'll see a large
TS seal with a different color scheme (pink for the seal and a transparent
background). With this color scheme, it again shows the downward triangle as
"colored in" and the upward triangle is light or "not colored in." This is
apparent on the large seal at the top of the page and the seal used as a
watermark for the webpage. See:

http://theos-talk.com/archives/index.html

for a good example of this.

In all cases, including the one that apparently misled you, the TS seals
have a "colored in" downward triangle and a "not colored in" upward
triangle.

OF THE ORIGINAL TS EMBLEM

The official emblem of The Theosophical Society presents the white
triangle upwards.
