Okay. Since all the opinions have been laid on the table and none of us can
come up with any valid proof of what is a lie and what isn't, let's leave it
at that and let each of us examine the ideas presented and the references
given, do their own research to deny or confirm them, and decide for ourselves what
may or mau not be true, and what relationship they might have to the
theosophical movement (of which the founding of this country was an integral part) and
the ideas presented by Blavatsky with respect to it. I'm sorry that my
posting of the original essay as a matter of interest to theosophists, without any
comment of whether I believed it or not, has led to such unproductive political
argumentation and dissension. In any event, I think that theosophy itself,
which also can't be scientifically proven or disproved, can be subject to the
same kind of opinionated by-play -- which really has no place in this forum
which ostensibly, in my view, should be devoted solely to a discussion of
theosophy and its relation to the practical world we live in - which might also
include the effects of dictatorial governmental intrusions on our lives and our
principles.
