Recruitment and education...

Hi all of you,
Recruitment and Education
If asked about wheather I have ever written much on
the subject of the importance of Theosophical knowledge for
the present day ?
My answer could be the following:
Until recently, very little. The reason is that if you become identified
with a stance, people will criticize it and write you off - and what you
are trying to do will suffer, unless you condition people to support you -
ending up with the kind of social group
that improves tribalism but stultifies true Theosophical Knowledge.
Hence I have instead for some time worked very hard to get FACTS known and
understood, first of all. This has really paid great dividends (- ie. not in dollars).
The general stock of information has thereby increased; and information
which was not accesible has been redistributed, bypassing
personal prejudice.
I want people to have information BEFORE they decide to
invoke their desires to support or to oppose an individual, a tradition or a system.
This is, of course, making the distinction between a recruitment activity and an
educational one.
One could ask which Theosophical organizations (Bailey groups included) - understands this issue today - and which not ? And why ?
Should one not present FACTS before inducing people to believe anything ?
If not, why not ?
