Hi Morton: In your message I read, "All this cannot be taught uniformly to all, because each person is a measure of what he/she can understand and of what, in accordance with the-economy-of esotericism, it is fitting to set before him/her." Are these your words? If so, you seem to have gone to the next level and I congratulate you.
In any case, imagine a large room filled with many people who are sitting and standing around. In order for these people to have a certain kind and quality of experience, certain conditions will need to be established before hand. The reason why I have questioned if you wrote the above sentence is that it is constructed in such a way that certain checkpoints in the sentence will connect to certain checkpoints in the reader in such a way as to establish a certain "economy" which leaves out the irrelevant. What is the irrelevant? Anything which has no reason to be there in relationship to actualizing the aim of an individual participant. But what does this mean? Different people have different criteria for establishing what is or is not "relevant." Who, for example, is able to determine the individual checkpoints that have established why a given individual is weeping? A child may be crying because someone at school hurt his feelings, but really it is something about his mother who has treated him in a certain way. If it were not about his mother, he would not even be crying. But when the crying is finished, he can go and play.
So it is also with a group of people in the United Nations. At first glance, one might assume it has something to do with Alice Bailey, but what it might actually have to do with is too many people standing in the same room for too many different reasons, most of which reasons are unknown even to themselves. It is sad. When we bring the study home, everything changes. I want to be elevated, and I approach it by hit and miss, which is maybe better than nothing. At least I have an aspiration that causes me to focus in a certain direction that is more favorable than another in achieving a certain response. One day I may attract something. This hones things down further. Then I begin to deliberately behave in such a way so as to hone things down even more. Maybe I attract a few others. Now when we are standing around at the party we are all connected in a certain way, as we know each other and know we are not there for just any old reason. We are there to be at the party, but, at the same time, we are there for something else. In a way, we are blood brothers. If the bond is strong enough, nothing can break us apart. Meanwhile, other people at the party feel certain bonds and sympathies with each other. I will give Reed, Dallas and Leon as an example, someone named "Herm" having grouped these people together by mentioning them in the same breath, as if to suggest they have a special understanding. Maybe they are "blood brothers," but I doubt it. To me they are "air brothers," as something in the air does not enter their blood in a such a way as to form a deposit of certain materials that could be considered astral. In any case, if you read the messages of these "air brothers." you will notice the cocktail party tends to recede into the background and you begin to feel you are lost, if not even trapped in white stuff, having disconnected from a clear sense of yourself being at the party, the simple physical pins and needles Earth of this, which is actually the sacred ground from which certain astral transmutations must occur, being that they cannot form in the head brains alone of certain fantasy addicts.
It is time for Work now, so I cannot write anything more. Sincerely, Wry
