Sorry for the delay in posting this response, but it got lost in my mail to
send box along with many other letters I had piled up since I began working on
a new architectural design project.

Mauri wrote:

of liberation. Anyone can liberate themselves from
karma and maya at any time, and the Cosmos will keep
right on going for those left within it. As individuals,
we enter manifestation at some point and leave at some
point, while manifestation itself keeps right on going
without beginning or end.>>

[Mauri:] But, (possibly?), "individual self" might be defined in such various
ways that ... Whatever ... Of course (?),
on the other hand, in a "reality" where there are no
"other hands," well ... how could we have "which gave
it beings" or comparisons of any kind ... ^:-) ... I tend to
agree with Gerald's response.
Speculatively,
Mauri>>>

[Leon] Why? (Although, I appreciate that such acceptance is only
"speculatively." :-) Actually, Gerald's statement, while correct in part, is confusing
the manifestation with the primal force that empowers it. This force is in the
form of eternal spin motion that has the ability, due to its infinite
malleability, to retain the encoded memories of all phenomenal experiences forever.
It's why a Master or Buddha can remember all his past lives down to the finest
detail -- from the first separated fundamental particle of his initial
manifestation up until his present life as a human being. Therefore, this permanence
of the memories of karma does not eliminate the possibility of liberation.

Thus, while we can mitigate bad karma by counteraction of its action, we
cannot remove the memory of that previous action from the Akashic record. Why? Beca
use that record is encoded within the interference patterns of the eternal
spinergy's, or non dimensional angular momentum's -- assigned, specifically, to
our "forever conscious" individual "zero-point" origin of being... That,
forever, remains distinct from all other manifested zero-point beings... Like a
particular molecule of water in the ocean, or a single atom of oxygen in the air.
Remember, since motion never ceases, the laws of conservation are universal,
and therefore, the Absolute must keep perfect records, in its own nature, of
its most minute and subtle action-reaction.

Therefore, even though it is possible to transcend karma by lifting our
consciousness onto the higher plane and entering Nirvana -- if we wish to return to
life on the lower plane, our physical body and its 5 lower principles will
continue to suffer the effects of all past karma that has not yet been rectified
or neutralized by direct counteraction. That is why the enlightened
Bodhisattva -- while capable of transcending karma in Nirvana, accepts the karma of
all beings and, thereby, continues to suffer in his own body for their sins, so
to speak... ("Sins," which are really no different from the accumulated bad
karma of all the Sage's past lives.)

It's interesting that many of the great teachers of mankind, while fully
enlightened Adepts, if not Buddha's or perfect Masters, suffered some degree of
debilitating diseases or early, if not painful deaths. So, as long as such a
Master, or fully enlightened one remains in a body, that body will continue to
suffer its past karma until it is fully counteracted, mitigated, or resolved.
(According to Kabbala, a deep felt recall to consciousness of such actions and
an experiencing of their effects, along with a sincere vow of repentance and
restitution could be sufficient.) In that sense, Jerry is right -- since
anyone could practice this once they have understood the fundamental nature of
reality, achieved self realization, and attained total recall. That's not so
simple, though, and not everyone can handle it. Meeting the "dweller on the
threshold" and letting him tear your guts out, is no fun at all. You'd be surprised
at how much evil has been done in one's past lives that one wouldn't find
easy to face and experience in reverse.

But, if the law determines that nothing is separate, then we cannot separate
the zero-point of individualized consciousness from it own spinergy ray which
is a part of the spinergy of the ALL consciousness. Therefore, while the
"idea" or "feeling" of being a "separate" self is an illusion (separate from the
Krishna Self that is), the actuality of being an individual "zero-point" of
self consciousness moving on a particular line of free choice karmic action, is
as real as the ocean of consciousness that gave it birth.

So long as one chooses to stay on this individually self chosen path of
karma, one's self will be subject to its rules of action<=>reaction,
cause<=>effect. Losing oneself in Nirvana is the only escape. But the pay-back is the
total loss of one's state of humanity on the path to true self conscious
awareness, and the bliss of being one with all of harmonious nature and enjoying the
beauty of all its ingenious and creative twists and turns, as well as
participating in the creation of even more beautiful combinations of ultimate truth.

But, everyone to his own idea of joyful (mindful) or joyless (mindless)
"bliss." :-) Universal brotherhood, then, is simply being in tune with harmonious
nature and loving all its wonderful creations. But that doesn't mean you can't
try to straighten out those disharmonious creations that have gone wrong and
act as a cancer on all the rest, as well as help those that have strayed from
the path and/or need a boost along the way.

So, as I said before, there is no free lunch. And karma, as an immutable
law, dictates that everything that goes around comes around, and as one sows, so
shall one reap in one way or another. That is, should one choose to continue
living in this world -- or out of it, totally annihilated as an unfeeling non
entity -- or both.

Why do some people who think that physical death is the end of life, feel
that they are punishing a criminal by killing him? (If he never repents, what
good does it do?) Or, if they die, they are dead forever? In the eye of
universal consciousness, the loss of life is the ultimate loss of all beauty and
truth. Isn't it funny that when anyone becomes at-one-ment with the ALL, he also
becomes separate from everyone else? ;-)

But, if one chooses to avoid karma, and upon enlightenment, chooses to remain
forever in Nirvana -- that escape will last only to the end of the
manvantara... And the same "individuality" will emerge again at the next manvantara to
start all over on the path of existence, from particle to man (if he is lucky
enough not to end up in the heart of a sun, or as a mote in someone's eye).
It's a fact that the LAWGIVER (our individual Self) confirms, when he says,
"Everything that was or is -- will forever be with ME ... But, I will always be sep
arate and alone with my SELF." Forever alone and forever apart... How's that,
for the perverse irony of total existence?

So, thanks, and no thanks. We have no choice, but to do it alone, and all by
ourselves (with a little bit of help from our friends). </:-)>

Best wishes,

LHM
