That depends on how one defines "nothing," doesn't
it? According to the Esoteric Tradition (apparently?),
there seems to be a form of "emptiness" (kind of like a
"nothing, but/"but,'" in a sense?) that's somehow
Fundamentally Different from the
"nothings/somethings" of "ordinary reality" ...

And so, from the perspective of "ordinary reality,"
while "karma" and "duty" might generally appear to
be describable enough, (however they might be
described by whichever karmic tendency, at any rate),
wouldn't Theosophists, in particular, have some
interest in considering (even speculating, maybe ... ?)
how "duty" and "karma" might relate to their lives
from a "Higher Perspective" that's "Beyond" the
descriptions of "ordinary reality" ... ?

In other words, seems to me that there might be
"Higher" forms of "duties" and "karmas" that, if
considered strictly from the perspective of generally
perceived "ordinary reality" (as opposed to "less
generally perceived" ... ), might tend to be seen as
being on a somewhat "fundamentally different track,"
at least, (maybe?), unless, as I suspect, such tracks
generally tend to get exoterized (converted into the
"ordinary reality" of duality/multiplicity), along with
"everything else"... I think I'm suggesting that there
might be forms of intuition that might have some kind
of role to play, at times, with respect to
"understanding" the Esoteric Tradition. That is, not
that literal approaches and exoterics don't have roles
to play, but/"but"...
