I agree with both of you, Leslie and MKR. And think we should not
forget the
"unity in diversity" .
As one that loves historical research, Johnson's books made me think
and
learn much more than the "traditional" ones. And I admire him greatly
for
his work - which does not mean that I agree with him in all his
conclusions.
But it is so important and so healthy to have people thinking
differently!
It is like fresh air entering in a closed room...
