To offer two more cents: It is customery to make quotes from books and
essays without permission, conditioned it is short, meant for research or
for critics in the newspapers or other media. In our case, it is as if we
speak in an auditorium before the congregation. This is a kind of a chat
room, maybe more organized. I am forwarding others e-mails, and my e-mails
are being forwarded for many years, never got a complaint, I personally
don't care and people can use what I say as they wish. For me, it is a
public domain, we should treat it this way, we have to be careful, hence we
cannot take back an e-mail, like the words you send to the air. Anyway, we
don't do it on a commercial basis. Best wishes, Etzion
