I wonder if you might have that kind of backwards, 
Katinka ... There seems to be a popular perception out 
there that, for anything to be worthwhile, it must be 
complicated or "hard to understand." I tend to think 
that, with some things, it might be the other way 
around. I tend to see Theosophic and esoteric topics as 
being, possibly, so "essentially intimate and simplistic" 
to many people that, to them, it seems vague, abstract, 
complicated, or whatever, just because they tend to 
have trouble recognizing much of anything in detail 
that's "closer," and thereby "simpler," in a sense, than 
what they're used to.
