John Howard, the PM, ordered his ministers not to make
any personal attacks. One did and he, not so much
being censured, was told to watch what he was saying.
The Foreign Minister, Alexander Downer (who, mind you,
once ran for PM but was virtually laughed out of the
race - for those of you who have heard him speak
you'll definitely know why), replied by saying that
every person was entitled to his/her opinion. Fair
enough.

Mic: And there it is. I hope that our American
counterparts comment on this because, basically, one
of their closest Allies' top intelligence officer
asserts that the impending war on Iraq has nothing to
do with terrorism BUT with American domestic politics.
