I think it's real. I have had a lot of trouble with the BART virus,
which sends out strange emails tovarious lists.
It is called BART after the Bay Area Rapid Transit (B.A.R.T.) in San
Francisco, since it apparently originated in that city.
There is a version of it, which originated in Fontana (a suburb of
Los Angeles) called F.A.R.T.
Both of these send out e-mails to e-mail lists in selective manner
which are sometimes very W.E.I.R.D. and which sound I.R.R.I.Y.A.T.E.D.
In fact, this e-mail is a sample generated by the BART virus.
