Naturally, only a non-theosophist could suggest that. And, especially one
that doesn't understand the true meanings of symbols, and their usage in the
teachings of occult science. (Suggest you study the SD and find out what HPB
says about it.) You might find out that the swastica is one of the most
important root symbols of all ancient occultism -- as one of the five
diagrams that serve as an exact representation of Cosmogenesis in its first
primal stages of involution -- starting with the mundane circle and ending
with the turning cross within that circle. Also, the swastica symbol used by
the theosophical Society is not the same "swastika" diagram used by the Nazis
who reversed its spin to symbolize Thor's hammer -- which, turning in the
sinister direction, is the symbol of warfare, conquest, and death -- exactly
the opposite of the right turning direction of the theosophical (and all the
ancient religion's) swastica that represents life, harmony and peace. Hitler
knew exactly what he was doing when he chose his sinister swastika as the
Monogram of the NSDAP (Nazi Party).

To suggest taking the swastica (with correctly represented "S" shaped curved
lines rather than right angles) off the glyph of the theosophical society
emblem (Designed by Blavatsky) would be almost like telling the US to stop
using the 5 pointed star as its monogram and on its flag because it is also
used by Satanists (in its sinister or reverse direction).
