So, The "United Nations" is/are going to be meeting soon?

They have been meeting continuously for the past 50 years, so what is
new?

And they are going to vote for or against Bush. Well, who cares?

I don't know what country you live in, but I live in California (USA),
and I voted last week for some people to represent me in the
government.

I have been voting in local and national elections since 1951. I
usually vote in all the elections.

I have never been given the opportunity to vote for a representative
to the "United Nations", though. Sadam Husein has a representative to
the United Nations, but I do not. No one in the United States has ever
been given a chance to vote for or against a delegate or
representative to the United Nations.

It is about as a representative government as Sadam Husein's
government, where he gets 100% of the vote.

Mr. Bush is sincerly trying to protect those of us living in the US
from Husein and the terrorists. He doesn't need the permission of
those who didn't vote for or against his election to do that. I voted
in that election. The people of Britain, France, Germany, and Iraq
didn't vote for or against him then. We don't need their permission to
defend ourselves.

If they see the threat, and wish to put a stop to all this, then they
should join us, but whether they are for or against us, we don't need
their approval, or permission to protect ourselves.

The Debating Society on the East River didn't protect New York City on
9-11 with their endless talk and their non enforcement of previous
agreements, that Sadam Husein made with them 12 years ago. The only
reason that there are inspectors roaming around Iraq now is because
there are also a couple hundred thousand troops gathering on Iraq's
borders.

Who is it that wants Sadam Husein's "Rope a Dope" game to go on
another 12 or 25 years, while he manufactures a more potent arsenal to
use on his neighbors? I take it from your message that you are one who
wants him spared? Why are you so sympathetic to him, and not to his
victims?

Hitler didn't stop till he was stopped by force. If he had been
stopped sooner, he wouldn't have caused so many people to be killed.
Husein is in the same category. He will keep on causing wars and
violence till he is stopped.

Although most of the countries that make up the "United Nations" may
be against us, I will bet that they won't give us back any of the
money that we have been giving them over the years, or refuse to take
any additional money.

You are terribly naive. We are already at War. The United Nations
hasn't done much to prevent that. Why should anyone be worried that if
we take more aggressive action that we should be at War? We have had
planes over Iraq in the "No Fly Zones" daily since Sadam Husein signed
an armistice, not a Peace Treaty, 12 years ago. We are just going to
conclude the war we have been in for over 12 years.

That is, unless you, and the other left wingers, and apologists for
bloody dictatorships, succeed in keep Husein in power.

I, for one, hope it is over soon, and we can get back to Peace.

Dennis
