You mean that Pacifica radio is in Bush's pocket?
"The U.S. is at this moment developing advanced
systems of "weapons of mass destruction" and it
prepared to use them where it sees fit.
The Iraqi government has suggested the UN disarm the US and Israel.
They may have said that in jest, but it is not a bad idea.
Iraq is not surrounded by neighbors who have sworn to kill every last
man, woman and child in Iraq, as the Palestinians, Syrians, and, at one
time, the Jordanians, Egyptians, and Saudi's have sworn to do in Israel.
Also, Iraq invaded its neighbors, and LOST. The agreement to disarm was
a term of surrender, not a simple U.N. resolution. When the United
States or Israel loses a war where they are the aggressor, then
disarmament by them may be considered.
The effect of depleted uranium, used by America in the
Gulf War, is never referred to. Radiation levels in
Iraq are appallingly high.
Babies are born with no brain
That is in fact referred to often, and some think Dubya may have been
born without a brain. It should be said that some think chemical
agents used by Saddam may be partly responsible for genetic damage in
Iraq.
Please learn the definition of the word, "depleted".
[Successive Israeli regimes massacred tens of
thousands of Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims, Christians
and other humans with U.S. military and financial aid
to Israel during 1948 to 2003.]
A Belgian court has declared the slaughter meister Ariel Sharon will
be subject to arrest and trial as soon as he leaves office.
And you complain about high-handed behavior by the U.S. What right does
Belgium have that the United States does not? And isn't the fact that
the people that Israel is killing are in the process of fighting a war
of extermination against Israel relevant? Of course, if one considers
Jewish lives to be worthless, then Jews have no right to self-defense.
This was the rule in Europe for centuries, right up until World War II
(except in England and the Netherlands).
The desperate plight of the Palestinian people, the
central factor in world unrest, is hardly referred to.
That may be true in Europe, but it is referred to often here.
Sure. They tried to wipe out their neighbors, and failed. And they are
being treated FAR better than Jews are in Arab countries. But nobody
takes the Arab countries to task for their treatment of the Jews (or
even fellow Arabs of the "wrong" sect; you have not mentioned Saddam
Hussein's slaughter of A MILLION AND A HALF Arabs in Iraq who belonged
to the "wrong" Islamic sect, an act which Belgium seems to think is
absolutely OK, based on its votes in the U.N.
The Arab countries could not impose peace on Palestine by force, nor
can they conauer the place by force.
The Arab definition of peace in Palestine is the slaughter of every
Jewish man, woman and child. Of course, Europe would LOVE that; that
many fewer Jews in the world.
