Cesar Joanino
“Theosophy is the teaching of Madame Blavatsky. It is
Hinduism at its best. Theosophy is the Brotherhood of
Man....”
Mahatma Gandhi”
You comments about Madame Blavatsky are not only
without level, which express easily the level of
person you might be but unfair and vulgar.
I would like you to mention since when a kind and
gentle personality is synonymous of high spiritual
awareness and spiritual development? The empty
Christian fantasy that an elevate person is like a
living angel is far away from reality, even Jesus
character is stated many times as explosive. Or
Mahatma Ghandi in his personal relationships. Now what
are you doing in a Theosophy list for discussions if
you have such repulsive feelings and thoughts about
Theosophy and specially about Madame Blavatsky?
Hitler haven’t got a Theosophical symbol, he used an
ancient Hindu and Greek symbol the swastika. Also he
had sympathy for Buddhism having between his council
two monks. His interest for metaphysics it’s not
exclusive to Theosophy.
There is no one teaching in the whole range of
Theosophical Literature that promotes racism,
separation or divisions. On the contrary theosophy try
to proof the unity of all humans and living entities
and try to give an awareness about the need to live in
harmony with universal laws, removing racism and any
other kind of factions from human heart.
Theosophy had an amazing influence on the West in many
areas as, literature, art, music, psychology,
comparative religions, new age thought, science etc.
Persons like Mahatma Gandhi, that become a member of
the Blavatsky Lodge in London, he mentions in his
biography that:
“Theosophy is the teaching of Madame Blavatsky. It is
Hinduism at its best. Theosophy is the Brotherhood of
Man....”
Thomas Edison was also a member of the Theosophical
Society. Carl Gustav Jung his openness to philosophy
and theosophy as well as eastern and western religious
play a significant role in the development of his
psychological theories.
Kandinsky considered the inventor and theorist of
abstract painting in the 20th century was also a
Theosophist: he was committed to using art as a way of
changing the world. For him, the artist was a kind of
messiah or prophet (or even magician) whose job it was
to communicate a higher truth to humanity.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of Sherlock Holmes,
James Joyce, T.S. Eliot, Bram Stocker, William Yeats,
Alexander Skrjabin the Russian composer, Paul Gauguin,
etc, etc... The list of names which theosophy have
influenced is almost endless, famous personalities and
names that it’s not possible to mention all of them
here. Do not mention Einstein and other great
personalities which admired the work of Madame
Blavatsky and not only were also investigating her
writings.
