Mauri,
H.P.B. referred to the legendary "Sweet Singers" of ancient history 
as the 
"Trustee's" of the Science of Mantra and Siddhi's, that portions of the 
fabric
of the esoteric knowledge were partitioned and various "Trustee's" 
became repository
in order to preserve and protect and insure the continuation of the 
knowledge in
periods of great difficulty. So the apparent transmission was the 
Mahayana Ch'an
of Northern China. Below I post a Ch'an website for evaluation.
