Thanks I also enjoyed your friends assessments, especially the
reference to "The
Garden of the Philosophers" which by the way is mentioned in the work
of the
Famous alchemist Nicolas Flammel in his work "Hierographical Figures"
1624 AD,
frontispiece "To the subscribers"by Robert H. Pryar and adapted from
Alchemy and
the Alchemists, New York 1865. This was republished by Manley P. Hall
some
years ago through his "Theosophical Research Society" in L.A.
