Thanks, Bill. But I'm speculating and hoping that you might
be jesting there with that "recognized authority" part.
Anyway, seems as if I'm trying to see how far I can speculate
on these lists while still speculating that I might be able to
speculate that I might be on some kind of speculatively
relevant speculative track, although (needless to say?) the
generally perceived "applicability" of my speculative tracks
might be kind of . . . Well, one might ask Dallas, Leon, Wry,
etc, etc, about my speculative track record, and . . .
About that "Coma" topic. Seems to me that I already
speculated on it, in a sense, in my "re
maya,karma,skandhas,esoteric tradition,re
Gerald,Leon,Dallas,re . . ." post (of which I sent an uncrossed
version to Theos Talk), in as much as I offered some
speculation in that post about how various "I-not-I" realities
might reflect the mayavic present (rather than "ON the
mayavic present"). So, in other words, Theosophists,
(especially?), ought to know (. . . ?) that they might be
somewhat "better off" (well, "in a sense," maybe. . .) by not
letting themselves get too caught up in too many mayavic
things, in general . . . Although . . . Well, not that there are no
"other hands," or other body parts, but/"but" . . .
Speculatively,
Mauri
PS Of course, (well, "alternately" . . . ?), if one has "already
achieved" some kind of "desired/meaningful" life style, (as
opposed to lifestyle involvements with coma's, body parts,
and such, say . . .) and if one happens to be a Theosophist, as
well, then shouldn't one, might'n't one soon realize that one
might have traded one kind of maya for another kind of maya .
. . And, in as much as maya is maya . . . hmm . . . but . . .
PPS I suspect that if one is looking for some kind of
"bottom-line self-relevance" in various speculative scenarios
re . . . whatever, then, in as much as one is assessing that
"bottom-line self-relevance" from a "self perspective," one
might find oneself confronted with, in some cases (?), the kind
of "self assessment" that, if carried through far enough, or "far
enough," "say," (especially if one becomes aware of how such
assessments might tend to affect the nature of one's "self"
definition?), then . . .
PPPS But, IMHSO, it's not my place to speculate here "more
specifically" and "more publically" (ie, "past this point") about
the nature others' intimate self-related assessments as they
might relate to . . . whatever . . . other than, maybe, in some
kind of speculative/theoretical general sense, maybe . . . In
other words, if theoretically asked whether I would
theoretically donate a theoretical leg or an arm, say, and if I
were to, theoretically, donate those to needy people, then what
about all the other theoretical/real needy people who could use
so many of my other body parts? And, since I sort of tend to
think of myself as a Theosophist (well, in a speculative sense),
and since I'm trying to speculate my way toward some kind of
substantially realer, or at least somewhat less dualistic reality,
why would I want to hang on to any of my dualistic/mayavic
body parts, anyway . . . (except, maybe, for my speculative
brain, so that I'd have something to transcend while still being
sort of alive in duality . . . ?) . . . . . ? Of course, if my "body"
consisted of just some kind of speculative brain, only, then . . .
on the other hand, or on the one hand, or first hand . . . Well,
that might be a dualistic problem, while I'd still be kind of
(dare I say it?) "dualistic" . . .
PPPPS But, IMHSO, it's not my place to more-specifically
speculate here publically about "the answer" to those kinds of
questions (ie, "past this point") or about the nature my intimate
self-related assessments as they might relate to . . . whatever . .
. other than, maybe, in some kind of speculative/theoretical
and general sense, maybe---which I alread did, kind of, I think,
maybe . . .
