Thank you for the ad homonym comment. Apparently, you didn't understand what
was referred to. My statement did not refer to HPB or to the Masters, but to
the basic teachings of theosophy that were distorted by so called TS
"leaders" and later pseudo theosophists from Besant/Leadbeater to
Bailey/Prophet, who did dupe theosophists and prospective theosophists
through twisting (editing, if you will) of the original teachings into
watered down or mystically twisted "new age" versions acceptable to
Christians.
Whether or not the Mahatmas used hidden identities or not would have no
relationship to the validity of their original teachings that were
transmitted directly or through HPB -- which teachings stand or fall on their
own merits -- left solely for "open minded, discerning, and intuitive
students," to decide for themselves. Open-mindedness refers to looking at
both sides of a question or statement with clear sighted discernment and
without preconditioned biases or prejudices.
