Re: altering Karma

Dear Friends:

To erase will take as much effort as was put into making the original
choice for any kind of action: feeling, thought, deed or word.

In the training of the disciple as contemplated in the VOICE OF THE
SILENCE one injunction is:

"Look not behind or thou art lost."

We cannot as we are at present recapture all the memories of our past
in this life or previous ones. Nature is true and honest and she
carries the full record. We need only receive the results with an
eager independence curbed and bridled, and thus dedicated to change
all trials from suffering and pain to pleasure and the joy of
assisting others to learn what we have. No resentment is to be
allowed.

However, we must spend time on discovering the how and the why. These
are positive actions. We have to become true scientists and start
discovering ourselves and our potentials.

We ought to start with a thorough comprehension of the THREE
FUNDAMENTALS, the idea of SOUL IMMORTALITY ought to be firmly embedded
in our consciousness. Karma or the UNIVERSE As A LIVING LAW ought to
find its place there, and be applied automatically to all questions.

This is the key to brotherhood. We are a band of eternal Monads with
the same potentials, each expressed in a slightly different way. We
end to develop attention, concentration, will and tolerance. These
are all positive.

To efface all the possible evils we made ourselves responsible for, we
need only employ the injunction of great Gautama Buddha: "Cease from
evil. Do good."

Never dream of retaliation.

Our "personality" is constituted of billions of Monads, our younger
brothers. We owe them the service of right use.

Best wishes,

Dallas

Dear All,

I always observed about myself is that:
After a time period in which a negative event is experienced, I need
that
much time to erase all the effects of that negative event on me. What
do you
think is this time, or personality, or any other?

Sincerely
Mun
