Well the whole world holds the Mathematical prowess of the Indians in
very
high esteem and their accomplishments are many and include Nobel Prizes,
I believe they were taught this ancient method as children in their
schools in
rudiments if not the fuller version I referred you and the list too. So
there seems
to be some "proof in the pudding" in my estimation.
