Maya, esoterically understood refers to the illusion and limitation of Form
or
otherwise the body of physical manifestation and its Karmic limitations. It
is
to do with ones etheric/physical limitations personal and environmental.

It is not the same as the illusion of the mental body as such. Glamour is
the
hindrance of the Astral body. Firstly it is Maya which is cast off as a
hindrance
as one moves along the probationary path.
Secondly the glamour of the astral body is shed and then the illusion of
the Mental body is ascended. They are hinderances as dealt with by
Patenjali.

Psychology needs to deal with the health of the emotional body, with its
under and overactivity as in Bi Polar disorder and the effects the Moon has
upon it, if indeed that is the case. Secondly it needs to deal with the
many
problems associated with the mental body as with paranoia, split
personalities
and the forming of the personality out of the so called split or many
embryonic
ones. Also there is the consequent overstimulations of these bodies to be
cared for and the numerous delusions of power, assumptions and general
obsessions ect. Then there is the dream life but thats way off topic.

Jeremy
