Look in Neff's nook on Blavatsky which collects her "memoirs". It
has been awhile since I read that book, but I am fairly sure she
claimed to have seen the rope trick. As for the reward, some of
those appear to be bogus. There is a reward for ANYONE who can
peform ANY unusual phenomenon and it is uncollected, but that is not
because candidates have not come forth. If the reward is for real I
think arrangement could be made for the trick to e perfomed since it
is not all that difficult. If it is not for real (as I suspect it is
not) then nobody would bother with it
