This passage clearly states (1) that Blavatsky was one of the 
amanuensis chelas who are elsewhere mentioned but not elsewhere 
named, and (2) that after 1885 she was the only one.

It implies that in 1885 and before there was another or others, as 
stated elsewhere. 1885 was the year Damodar disappeared, which 
suggests Hodgson was right and Damodar was the other amanuensis chela 
in addition to Blavatsky. Anti-theosophists are unwilling to admit 
that he went, or tried to go, to Tibet, because that blows Hodgson's 
claim that he was a confederate.

You will understand later the significance of this

Accoring ti an artivcle in Theosophy there aere seven different 
people claiming to be channeling KH letters so it is not clear (to 
me) to whom this passage refers. Possibly to all of them.
