Who wrote the Mahatma Letters? Was H P B conscious or nor ?
Dear Friends:
If you will read H P B's LETTERS THAT HAVE HELPED ME to Mr. A. P.
Sinnett you will discover in several places that H P B declares she is
conscious all the time. So even is she were the "amanuensis" for some
of the Mahatmas' letters she would be perfectly aware of what was
being done.
If you are familiar with Mr. Judge's writings you will find
surprisingly, that he was aware of the letters from the Mahatmas
written during H P B's life time, apparently at the time when they
were sent, and there is no indication that a physical copy was ever
sent to him. In the MAHATMA LETTERS, and LETTERS FROM THE MASTERS OF
WISDOM, there is given evidence of some almost immediate transmission
of letters and telegrams, long before INTERNET made this possible.
Please look and read and you will find them, as others have, and who
pointed them out to me years ago.
One ought to be thoroughly familiar with the literature -- more than
on a "suppose" or "maybe" basis, to handle this kind of innuendo from
those who are not, and who seek to degrade and deny events in history
that are attested to by many competent witnesses of the time.
Let me additionally state that H.P.Blavatsky has gone on record as to
her continuous consciousness, and her mastery of the occult and the
psychic would, and her letters showing this, were reprinted in vols. 8
and 9 of the PATH magazine by Mr. Judge. In several of her notes to
Mr. Sinnett and others written while she as in London, after 1997 she
shows she was perfectly familiar with events at Theosophical meetings
she had not attended physically, held several miles from her own
residence The MAHATMA LETTERS has to be carefully read as also the 2
volumes of her letters published by the T P S and titled H P B SPEAKS.
Best wishes,
Dallas

The internal evidence in the Protocols is quite different. The same
problems of evidence do not appear in the Mahatma Letters. The
problem in the latter case is that the claim was made that the
mahatmas dictated the letters but did not write them, and that
Damodar and HPB (the "amanuensis chelas") wrote them, but that they
contained the thoughts of others. The burden is then to establish
whether this claim is true, or whether the letters are actually the
work of HPB, possibly unconsciously to herself. The question is
complicated by the further claim that some of the letters were
actually penned by mahatmas, and not by "amanuensis chelas," and the
fact that some of them, such as the S. S. Shannon letter, could not
have
been delivered by either HPB or Damodar.
