Brian may pooh-pooh the existence of the Masters but is he aware of
the following?
Two adepts/masters visited both Olcott and Blavatsky when they lived
in New York
Henry Olcott testified:
"I ran down stairs, rushed into Madam's parlour and there sat these
two identical men smoking with her and chatting as quietly as if they
had been old friends. Madam motioned to me as if I had better not
come in, as if they had private business to talk over." Quoted from:

2.
Brian may believe that these adepts were "myths" but here is what K.
Paul Johnson wrote in his SUNY book THE MASTERS REVEALED about
these "two identical men smoking" with HPB:
". . . . there is little doubt that two real adepts visited Olcott
[and Blavatsky] in New York." (p. 62)

"...Contrast alone can enable us to appreciate things at
their right value; and unless a judge compares notes and
hears both sides he can hardly come to a correct decision."
