Re Cycles of Destiny ?

Dear Friends:

One ay would be to say that everything is under Karma. In
dealing with vast masses of people there is an average that
is struck in terms of experience by each individual as part
of a mass.

Let us rather say that this mass karma is like a tremendous
wave of force and that it regulates and sets the cycles of
benevolence plenty, and cataclysms.

Further as on SECRET DOCTRINE I 181 we have three
intertwined lines of karmic development, all the cycles will
reflect the interactions in these three, and more -- also
the process of development in each individual is
considered -- so no aspect of life is "steam-rollers," and
all are considered and given opportunity for development.

If we look around the world, no one country has a totally
uniform civilization, economic or educational level. There
are provisions made around the globe for the incarnation of
spirit-soul of various levels of development. If one were
to fly in a day from New York to Cochin, or to Chunking or
Lhasa one would encounter totally different environments.
Our Earth at all times provides under Karma the right
environment for every developing spirit-soul.

World endings occur when all possible use of a practical
7-fold EARTH by all its beings is achieved -- and this as a
very long time into the future. So we may cast our mind's
eye back to the past and say we have already been through
many a crisis constructively and destructively. The extent
to which we are able to REMAIN OURSELVES, uninfluenced and
pursuing our own spiritual discipline counts. These are the
tests of developing humanity. We continually find that the
Higher Self is testing our lower self. Are we aware of that
? Does it mean anything to us ?

What cycles do we ally ourselves to?

Are we "subjects" or "rulers" of our destiny ? Now
theosophy gives us tools with which to see what is our
potential. are we going to use them?

science is yet at loggerheads with theosophic knowledge?
